Guildford Station – Easy Access
Degnan built and installed a new footbridge, two new lift towers and access stairs, glazed screening, new awnings and platform regrading to give the station an overall upgrade.
In order to keep the station operational and have minimal impact on both customers and staff, Degnan relied on innovative methodologies in order to construct the footbridge across a live rail line.
Degnan also delivered accessible parking and toilets for families and people with disabilities.
