Corinda and Caboolture Substation Upgrades

Degnan to upgrade QueenslandRail Corinda Caboolture Feeder Stations

Degnan has secured Queensland Rail’s Caboolture and Corinda Feeder Station Site Integration Works projects. We’re thrilled to be working with Queensland Rail once again; our experience working within a live rail environment, along with our commitment to collaboration, will ensure successful delivery.

Electrical substations are critical railway infrastructure responsible for powering electric trains and these upgrades will ensure communities remain connected — even during power outages or planned maintenance. Not only will the new substations safeguard network reliability, they will also future-proof the South East Queensland network by providing backup power supply for the Cross River Rail (CRR) project and have the capabilities to support major projects like the Beerburrum-Landsborough duplication works.

The substations will be beautified with artworks celebrating stunning flora and fauna of the region, these colourful murals from local artists will foster community pride as part of Queensland Rail’s ongoing Positive pARTnerships Program.
