PROJECT INFORMATION
Degnan replaced Lifts 1 & 2 at Central Station, replacing the older style lifts with new, faster and more reliable electrical lifts. The new air-conditioned lifts access several levels of staff offices, connecting them to the main concourse level.
Majority of the work was conducted in off-peak times to reduce the impact to the staff working in the key operational areas of the station. It was important that the project was delivered in a timely matter for the customers and staff who use the beautiful, heritage buildings of Central Station.
