Sutherland Depot

Degnan were contracted by Sydney Trains to facilitate the delivery of a new Sydney Trains Satellite Depot. The construction of the depot included extensive civil work, the installation of pre-fabricated modular buildings, storage sheds, walkways, access ramps and an overall fit out.

The project included the conversion of a 5000 square metre old rail storage facility into a new asphalt carpark and layover facility for workers. In addition, new boundary fencing, security access gates and entry signage were installed. External works included stormwater, sewer, asphalt, kerbing, car park, landscaping and a new 40 metre concrete piled retaining wall was built. Security was improved with the installation of security cameras and increased lighting.
