Bus Driver Amenities Upgrade Program

Degnan has successfully delivered the T3 Bus Driver Amenities Upgrade Project for Sydney Trains, enhancing facilities at Cabramatta, Fairfield, and Liverpool. Delivered under a condensed program, this project demonstrates our ability to plan, collaborate, and deliver high-quality outcomes, regardless of project size.

The goal was to refurbish and construct facilities that provide safe, functional, and comfortable spaces for bus drivers across three key stations.

The project was completed under a tight schedule, with careful planning to minimise disruption to station and driver operations.

Degnan successfully delivered the works on time, demonstrating our capability to manage challenging timelines without compromising quality. Our team’s collaboration, expertise, and dedication ensured a successful outcome for Sydney Trains.

Fairfield Station saw:

  • Conversion of an existing meal room into a dedicated driver facility
  • Construction of a new amenities building with associated footpaths and fencing
  • New covered outdoor seating area
  • Civil and building works

Each site had different requirements.

At Cabramatta Station, works included:

  • Full refurbishment of the existing bus driver facility
  • Upgraded toilets and meal room
  • Demolition of existing partitions and amenities
  • Provision of temporary toilet facilities during construction
  • Fit-out of the upgraded driver facility building

Liverpool Station, upgrades included:

  • Refurbishment and conversion of existing facilities into dedicated driver amenities
  • Construction of a new meal room building with retaining walls and fencing
  • Comprehensive civil and building work
