Corporate Leadership

Degnan takes ownership of sustainability outcomes for our projects and business. We have inhouse sustainability professionals, to drive sustainable design and construction practices. Our business is a member of the Infrastructure sustainability council (ISC) and our team are Infrastructure Sustainability Accredited Professionals.

Our Corporate Sustainability Management plan details our approach to sustainable business and project practices. It maps out our pathway to Net Zero, our Corporate Targets and commitments. 

We have also developed a road map to integrate Modern Slavery controls and mitigations into our business practices.

Through strong leadership and transparent reporting, Degnan aims to be a market leader in sustainable design and construction practices.

Integrated Approach

To ensure sustainable project outcomes are achieved as part of ‘business as usual’ Degnan has integrated sustainability requirements into its business processes. This includes a sustainability risk and opportunity process in design development, carbon accounting tools for use during construction and procurement processes that considering local procurement, sustainability credentials of our supply partners and modern slavery in our supply chain. By making best practice ‘BAU’ Degnan aims to raise the bar on sustainability and lead the market in driving better ESG outcomes.
