Degnan was engaged to perform the remedial façade works to the Residential Apartment Block located in the heart of Darling Harbour to bring the building up to code and in turn future-proofing and modernising the building.
Degnan was engaged by the Strata Managers, having been recommended by clients we had worked with on other projects.
The Degnan teams’ collaborative approach to bring their collective experiences in residential construction and working in a challenging live environments, lead to a successful delivery with minimal disruption for the building’s residents and vast number of pedestrians who traverse this area of Sydney’s CBD daily.
Works included:
- replacing Aluminium Composite Panelling (ACP) with a new non-combustible cladding
- waterproofing and retiling all 91 balconies
- external painting
- render repairs
- upgrading balustrades
