PROJECT MANAGER

The Opportunity

Degnan is seeking a full time Project Manager to join our team.

Duties and tasks include;

  • Manage project development from initiation to closure
  • Lead the planning and implementation of project
  • Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
  • Define project tasks and resource requirements
  • Manage project budget
  • Monitoring sub-contractors to ensure guidelines are maintained
  • Plan and schedule project timelines
  • Track project deliverables using appropriate tools
  • Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to Senior Management
  • Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
  • Manage effectively the Commercial Interests of the Company in dealings
  • Variation Management
  • Client Management
  • Design Management and Design Input
  • Salary offer to commensurate with experience.

About You

The successful candidate will demonstrate;

  • Minimum six (6) years extensive building experience
  • Trade Qualification / Building or Engineering Degree / Diploma
  • Good communication skills
  • Personal drive, initiative and resourcefulness
  • Management and leadership ability
  • Problem-solving ability

CONTRACTS ADMINISTRATOR

Degnan is seeking a full time Contract Administrator to join our team.

Duties and tasks include;

  • Preparation of subcontractor packages, scopes, lettings, procurement schedules
  • Progress claim assistance and external variations
  • Review, negotiate and finalise subcontracts
  • Manage and track project expenditure, inclusive of subcontractor claim
  • Administer RFIs, NODs, EOTs to clients, architects and consultants
  • Administer the project HSEQ system
  • SWMS preparation and review
  • Preparation of ITP’s and checklists
  • Interpret plans and estimate costs and quantities of materials needed
  • Maintain Document Control
  • Preparation of Handover Documentation
  • Prepare Construction and Look Ahead Programs

About You

The successful candidate will demonstrate;

  • Minimum two (2) years extensive building experience
  • Trade Qualification / Building or Engineering Degree / Diploma
  • Excellent time management
  • Very good written and verbal communication
  • Appropriate IT skills

We are currently seeking Carpenters for full time wages positions for work in Sydney metro area. Full qualifications and certification are essential, along with driver’s license, vehicle and tools.
