Towradgi Station Upgrade is now complete

We are pleased to announce the completion of our Towradgi Station Upgrade project.

This upgrade was delivered as part of the Transport Access Program and has provided an accessibly friendly station for the community with an enriched experience for station users with Aboriginal narratives and themes woven throughout the design of the entrances, buildings, landscape, and public spaces.

The new footbridge and lifts are now open to the community. Last week Aunty Sharralyn warmly welcomed everyone in the beautiful new landscaped Weber Park and Mr Paul Scully, Minister for Planning and Public Spaces and Member for Wollongong spoke to the community and toured the station with children from Towradgi Public School.

Thank you to our team, the many contractors, SMECDesignInc SydneyCoomaditchie United Aboriginal Corporation and the Transport for NSW project team who have worked to achieve this fantastic result.
