October is Safe Work Month
Degnan’s ONE Safe Workplace initiative ensures our staff keep safety and working safely front of mind every day. During October #NationalSafeWorkMonth, we have been highlighting safety topics with everyone involved on our projects, not just the ‘boots on the ground’, but in our offices, with subcontractors and on-site to encourage collaboration and discussion.
Good Housekeeping: paying specific attention to all aspects of organisation, tidiness, and maintenance.
Chain of Responsibility: emphasising the equal responsibility to comply with Heavy Vehicle National Law, shared by the whole supply chain.
It’s the Little Things: taking care and fixing the more minor hazards which can often be missed.
By being aware of other’s areas, more work health and safety issues are realised, and we are better placed to keep everyone safe.
