During National Safe Work Month 2020, we held a weekly awareness and voting event, with three Safety Champions voted for by their colleagues each week. Congratulations to Ellie Bowden on being our ultimate ONE Safe Workplace Champion.
Ellie is our Safety Support Lead and lives and breathes safety, so it’s not surprising she is our champion this year. There are so many reasons why Ellie received the most votes; essentially it is her ability to connect with everyone, simply and effectively to understand the importance of safety. She is always prepared, always willing, and consistently leading the way.
Although National Safe Work Month 2020 has come to an end, we will continue to keep health and safety front of mind and learn from our very own safety champions to enhance our excellent workplace safety culture.
