PROJECT INFORMATION
Built from concrete and prefabricated structural steel, the contract involved the construction of a new footbridge, 2 new lift towers and access stairs. In addition, glazed screening, new awnings and platform regrading were completed to give the station an overall upgrade.
External to the station Degnan also delivered new disabled and family access car parking and toilets.
External to the station, Degnan also delivered accessible parking and toilets for families and people with disabilities. In order to keep the station operational and have minimal impact on both customers and staff, Degnan relied on innovative methodologies in order to construct the footbridge across a live rail line.
