Chris leads Degnan’s business, setting the strategic direction for growth, including the ongoing development of the company’s capabilities to enhance the strength and scale of services offered to the Rail Infrastructure Sector. With over 25 years’ experience working alongside government agencies across Australia, he is approachable, driven, and passionate about client and staff engagement. Known for his collaborative approach, Chris builds strong partnerships and a positive company culture as key factors for certainty in delivery and project success. 

David Fazio

General Manager, Construction

With more than 30 years’ experience, David leads Degnan’s construction projects with a focus on planning, safety, and strategic delivery. He implements innovative construction methods, drives time and cost efficiencies, and combines deep construction expertise with collaborative teamwork and clear communication. David ensures projects meet milestones while maintaining a proactive safety culture across all sites.

Ben’s customer-focused mindset consistently delivers outstanding results that meet client objectives.

Rebecca Lucas

General Manager, People & Business Improvement

Rebecca leads Degnan’s people and business improvement initiatives, driving talent development, change management, and process enhancements. With over 20 years’ experience across HR, operations, and process improvement, including international roles, she excels at fostering collaborative teams, simplifying complex challenges, and implementing improvements that support business growth and operational readiness.

With over 25 years’ experience across rail infrastructure, water, manufacturing, transport, and heavy industry, Josh combines technical expertise, financial acumen, and a collaborative approach. He plans and delivers projects on time while developing high-performing teams and maintaining exceptional standards of design, safety, and quality. Josh excels in risk assessment, strategic project planning, and proactive mitigation to achieve transformative outcomes.

General Manager, Maintenance & Upgrades

With nearly 30 years in the construction industry, Peter brings extensive expertise in project management, operations, and strategic planning. He leads complex maintenance and upgrade projects across commercial and government sectors, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and superior outcomes. Known for his collaborative leadership and results-driven approach, Peter focuses on optimising performance, developing his teams, and delivering projects that consistently meet or exceed client expectations

Rob Wallace

General Manager, Major Projects

With 25 years’ leadership experience across Australia and the UK, Rob delivers complex, multidisciplinary infrastructure projects from pre-contract and design through to operational delivery. He builds high-performing teams, manages project risk, and consistently achieves successful outcomes in challenging environments, strengthening Degnan’s industry reputation.

Ellie Bowden

General Manager, HSE & Compliance

With over 15 years’ experience in work health and safety, Ellie leads Degnan’s Health, Safety, Environment, and Compliance functions. She manages site teams across all projects to ensure compliance with safety regulations and Australian Standards. Known for her proactive approach, Ellie identifies and mitigates risks, resolves compliance matters efficiently, and champions mental health and wellbeing across the organisation.

Bridget brings extensive experience in marketing, communications, and community engagement across the infrastructure and construction sector. Bridget is known for her collaborative approach, creative thinking, and clear communication, ensuring initiatives are delivered effectively and with measurable impact.

Daniel Renshaw

Senior Project Manager

With 30 years’ experience, Daniel manages rail, infrastructure, civil, commercial, and fit-out projects with Tier 1 and 2 contractors. He combines expertise in safety, environmental and quality management, project planning, and stakeholder engagement, overseeing design, construction, logistics, and programmes while proactively mitigating risks to deliver complex projects on time and within budget.

Kim Scott

Senior Project Manager

With 18 years’ experience across NSW, VIC, and SA, Kim has delivered complex bridge, rail, civil, and commercial infrastructure projects with Tier 1 and 2 contractors. He combines technical expertise, team leadership, and client liaison skills while managing design, logistics, contract management and construction programmes. Kim is valued for partnerships, mentoring younger engineers and coordinating specialist subcontractors to achieve strong commercial and operational outcomes.
