Our History
Since 1981, Degnan has built its reputation in the construction field, associated predominantly with small to medium size government infrastructure projects, i.e. railway stations, easy access (DDA) upgrades, sub-stations, depots and facilities. Although our construction and management projects span the breadth of the industry, we purposefully deliver to a narrow clientele base in order to provide a sustainable and reliable service.
Our consistent inclusion on government select tender panels for nearly 30 years is a testament to our commitment to developing and maintaining strong and productive relationships.
We are recognised across the industry for our capacity to deliver quality projects in difficult scenarios where the ability to develop and implement innovative and specialised construction techniques is paramount. Our clients rely upon our high level, non-adversarial communication to reduce their project risk, and form true partnerships in delivery of key infrastructure for the community. As our capabilities develop and expand we are presented with opportunities in building more projects of greater scope and higher value, which requires an ever-increasing workforce and effective systems in place to manage it. We strive to identify and maintain corporate systems of best practice in the areas of Safety, Environment, Quality and Human Resources, including Engineering Management related to our Authorised Engineering Accreditation for the NSW Transport Sector. With a workforce growing in size and capability, our accredited management systems ensure that we deliver your projects with quality, safety and reliability in mind.
Through our journey we stand now as a leading participant within the rail and civil infrastructure industry and we strive to adapt and diversify our knowledge and capabilities to ensure we remain a developing and forward thinking organisation.
